And they’re off!
We left Lymington on time at 10am and made our way past the Needles, Old Harry’s Rocks and made our way to Portland Marina just off Weymouth. Unfortunately there was no wind at all during the trip so we motored the whole 41 miles. We made good time though as the tide was with us and managed to hit a very creditable 9.2 knots coming over Weymouth Bay, arriving at 18.15.
